Tesla (TSLA) stock was up by 4% since this week began. Tesla said last week that it delivered 184,800 vehicles in the first quarter, beating the 168,000 number which analysts expected. At present, several analysts have raised the target price of this stock, including an upgrade from an analyst Daniel Ives.
Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives on Sunday upgraded Tesla's stock rating from "Neutral" to "Buy." and raised his price target on this stock to $1,000 from $950, which is 44.59% upside potential.
Ives said Tesla could exceed 850k deliveries for the year with 900k a stretch goal, despite the chip shortage and various supply chain issues lingering across the auto sector. He believes that his long-term “bull case” on Tesla is $1,300.
